The Creative's Course by Niharika is a place for you to Learn, Grow and Thrive!

What is The Creative's Course?

It is a Course in Watercolors, wherein you not only get to learn these mediums in the best way possible, be directly guided by Niharika through LIVE sessions and interact with fellow participants which will be an integral part of this journey.

What does the course include?

The COURSE is divided into a Foundation Basics and different Startup Projects.

Foundation Basics

1. Introduction to materials

2. Understanding watercolors

3. The Color Wheel Class

4. Techniques in Watercolors

Startup project

(a) Understanding techniques and compositions of painting the project chosen

(b) Brush Strokes

(c) Basic Sketching techniques

(d) Creating Final Artwork! 

Apart from this, we will also have different tasks and challenges each week :)

This is just the crux of it, ofcourse there are many other aspects which change with the kind of subject and medium.

What is the duration of the course?

This is a 6 weeks long course in Watercolors. 

Week ONE & Week TWO - we explore the foundational aspects of Watercolors, including understanding Color mixing theory!

While, Week THREE, FOUR, FIVE & SIX - is all about exploring different projects and subjects - Flowers, Galaxy painting, Birds & Nature and Landscapes!

We not only dive deep into main projects but also work on many mini projects, challenges etc to keep you motivated and thereby supporting you!

This journey can be a little overwhelming!

But I've got you!

At the beginning of each week, some lessons, tasks & challenges will be assigned to you.

I will also share a "Goal Planner" workbook, which is not only useful being more organised in your tasks, but help provide clarity to you in different aspects of life. 

This workbook has been super helpful to me, and I have been using it personally to define my goals.

Also at the end of each week, we will have a LIVE session together where you can ask your doubts, questions, show me your progress or we can simply have a painting party.

Who is eligible to take up this course?

This course is for anyone who can be termed a BEGINNER in Art or this medium itself. So you dont need any art related background whatsoever!

The Age criteria for the course is from 12 years and above, which means that a child of that age can easily grasp and take on the instructions, just like the other adults in the group.

This however does not mean that this course is for children only, it is for you (an adult) as well. I first created this course for parents like myself, who want to learn these mediums and at their own pace and time.

With work from home situation, life is even more complicated and hence the STRUCTURE of the course was designed to suit the needs of most people.

And that is why post completion of the course, you will have 6 more months to continue or restart the lessons and tasks assigned to you during the course. 

To further extend suppport, you will also be INVITED to join a community of like minded Creatives so you can continue to be create, stay motivated and share your work with your peers who understand your journey and struggles in the creative field.

FRAMES - The most common questions answered

1. What is the collection called? And what were the thoughts behind it!

"The Nature's Embrace" Collection

The collection was created during this beautiful Summer season, when post going through Covid, I needed to create something more beautiful than The Black Sketchbook. 

And thats why we call it "The Nature's Embrace" Collection.

I remember thinking and wondering, how so many of my Artists friends and people I see, create such beautiful Art and yet, the way it is presented isn't justifying the hard work put in.

From my experience of displaying works at Art Galleries and different exhibitions, I have learnt and recognised the importance of a good frame!

I have seen, an Artwork TRANSFORM with the mere addition of a FRAME!

Ofcourse it has to be the right one!

Allow your Artwork be MAGICALLY transformed with our collection of Frames.

Also another important aspect is.. We must do what we can do, so we are bringing a collection that is eco-friendly and not harmful to nature in anyway! But we are very sorry for the packaging aspect, some of which may contain plastic. But that is only because of lack of resources at the moment. However I promise to change this when things I better!

2. What and how does the entire collection look like?

The collection is inspired by Nature and how the way forward in the Covid era, is for us to embrace Nature even more :) Nature is healing and forgiving. It is our Mother! The very basis of our existence.

The closer we become to her, the stronger we get, the more peaceful and joyful we become.

This collection is also a REMINDER of the power of Nature, especially in our lives. 

The collection consists of two categories:

(a) Gallery Contemporary

(b) Gallery Traditional/Boho

Gallery contemporary consists of Floater Frames (in natural wood color) while Boho is a SURPRISE collection (I know you can't wait! But I promise you will really enjoy this :)

3. What is a floater frame?

A floater frame is a frame generally used with Canvases. It is named so, because it seems as if the Canvas or paper used is floating inside the frame.

The frame is made of wood and the Canvas is re-attachable. Which means that when you want to use the canvas, you can easily take it off and put it back again when done!

(we will share with you a demo of the same, post purchase, to get a better understanding)

4. When is the collection releasing/launching?

The collection is planned to be released by 31st July. However we will start taking PRE-ORDERS for the same atleast a week before the launch. 

Also, there will be limited availability of products, so if you know and have decided what you are looking for, do not wait to make your purchase :)

My social media handle will have a lot of information till the launch period, about usage and inspiration etc, so make sure you keep a check on my stories and posts! They can be super helpful to even start something NEW!
